I started with SafetyCall in March of 2021.

2.What does your job entail (brief overview of your job) ?

I take reports on adverse events and lack of efficacy regarding animal pharmaceutical medications and I also am cross trained to take Pet Poison Helpline calls.

3.What is your favorite aspect of your job?

My favorite part of my job is the client education. I enjoy talking with clients and educating them on how to help their pets.

4.What is the best career lesson that you have learned?

The best career lesson I have learned is to always be willing to learn. The world of medicine is constantly changing and evolving and we have to be willing to learn and grow with it.

5.Which 3 of SafetyCall’s 7 core values and principles do you resonate the most with and why? (Respect, Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Teamwork, Professionalism and loyalty)

Compassion, Teamwork and Respect. I consider myself a compassionate person that is able to relate to my callers and coworkers and strive to help them in any way I can.  I love being part of a team and knowing that we are all working together for a common goal.  I believe everyone deserves to be treated with respect and I strive to be that way in all my conversations and encounters with fellow coworkers and callers.
