r. Rick Kingston on his recent win at the NutraIngredients-USA Awards. Dr. Kingston was selected as the winner for the category NutraChampion! This specialty award is dedicated to the celebration of the industry’s biggest champions and heroes and was judged by a panel of independent experts to determine the winner. The NutraChampion award celebrates those who leave a lasting impact on nutrition and the nutrition industry.
Dr. Kingston is President, Regulatory and Scientific Affairs and co-founder of SafetyCall International. Dr. Kingston has more than 30 years professional experience in the areas of clinical toxicology and pharmacology, poison control, product post-market surveillance, and drug and dietary supplement safety. He has 23 years of critical care toxicology experience gained from practice in a University affiliated Level One Trauma Center and holds a joint academic appointment with the University of Minnesota at the rank of Clinical Professor within the College of Pharmacy. In his academic capacity he serves in multiple areas related to his practice focus of “clinical toxicology and product safety.”
