SafetyCall is proud to be a preferred supplier of the National Animal Supplement Council (NASC). During the 2021 NASC Virtual Conference held in June, SafetyCall was introduced to the nonprofit organization, Believe Ranch and Rescue. While listening to their story, we were moved by their passion and determination for rescuing horses that had been neglected and abused. Their mission is to give those horses “love, medical care, training and a second chance they so deserve. Restoring their love and trust in humankind, finding them safe, loving and permanent forever homes. These rescue horses then go on to transform the lives of their adoptive families.”
Believe Ranch and Rescue goes beyond the traditional horse rescue organization. They recognize the healing values that horses can bring to humans and offer equine assisted activities and therapeutic programs. The programs highlight how the calming and empowering presence a horse can heal those who have gone through trauma, anxiety, depression, illness, and grief. Both horses and humans learn from each other and gain lifelong benefits from the close bond that was created. To build that deep bond between the horses and new owners, Believe Ranch and Rescue offers a unique communication and connection clinic. Hosted four times a year, the event is designed to teach the attendee the knowledge and skills to make an ever-lasting bond with their horse.
