Dean Filandrinos, PharmD, MS

Dr. Filandrinos is CIO, VP, Strategic Operations and a Senior Clinical Toxicologist with SafetyCall International. Dr. Filandrinos served as Associate Director and Senior Clinical Toxicologist at PROSAR International Poison Center and as Clinical Toxicologist and Director of Professional Education of the Minnesota Regional Poison Center and Hazard Information Services. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Experimental and Clinical Pharmacology at the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy.

Dr. Filandrinos has also directed experiential programs in clinical toxicology for students in pharmacy and medicine since 1992. He received his Bachelor of Sciences degree in Zoology from Eastern Illinois University in 1985, and a Master of Science degree in Zoology in 1986. Dr. Filandrinos received a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Pharmacy in 1991, followed by his Doctor of Pharmacy Degree in 1992. He completed a post-doctoral residency in Clinical Toxicology with the University of Minnesota and the Minnesota Regional Poison Center, located in the former St. Paul Ramsey Medical Center in 1993. He has presented numerous scientific abstracts and invited presentations, as well as published many scientific abstracts and articles.

Dr. Filandrinos has served as an expert witness in a variety of legal cases including medical malpractice and product liability. He holds a license to practice pharmacy in Minnesota.
